We mostly act for privately insured property owners but on occasion also manage claims directly for insurance companies.

After one’s insurance company has accepted liability, we provide the following services: -

• Initial inspection of insurance damage, assessment of claim and advice including matters relating to subsidence, flood and fire.

• Compilation of report to yourselves, insurance company or their appointed loss adjuster

​​

• Liaison with loss adjustors to agree extent of work required in accordance with the insurance policy

​​

• Instructing emergency works contractors to ensure the damaged building is initially made safe and secure

• Liaison with all stake holders including,  Brokers/Adjusters/Insurers/Property Managers/Landlords/Lettings Agents

• Coordinate with adjusters the removal/cleaning/storage of salvageable fixtures, fittings and or personal belongings

• Provide clients with budget cost advise

• Instructing component strip out contractors to remove damaged elements of property

​​

• Design, specify and schedule reinstatement works for tendering purposes

​​

• Deal with planning applications, etc where necessary

​​

• Invite and administer a competitive tendering process

• appoint the successful main contractor and Project Manage construction works  

​​

• ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and other statutory requirements

​​

• Carry out final inspections and handover reinstated buildings

 

Our experienced surveyors maintain a dialogue with property owners (our clients) and the appointed loss adjusters throughout the entire process, from the date of the loss until the completion of the reinstatement, delegating tasks to team members as required.
